- COVID-19
Coronavirus disease (COVID-19) is an infectious disease caused by the SARS-CoV-2 virus. The virus has gone through several mutations and continues to mutate which has the possibility to create a variant that can cause more severe illness and death.
The best way to prevent and slow down transmission is to be well informed about the disease and how the virus spreads. Protect yourself and others from infection by staying at least 6 feet apart from others, wearing a properly fitted mask, and washing your hands or using an alcohol-based rub frequently. Get vaccinated and follow guidance and mandates.
There are currently 3 vaccines that have been authorized for use against COVID-19. Pfizer & Moderna and Johnson & Johnson.
We encourage all that are eligible to receive their COVID-19 vaccine.
